Quest Nutrition is an American diet company known for its protein bars, co-founded in 2010 by Thomas Bilyeu, along with Ron Penna and Mike Osborn. The company saw stupendous growth by 57,000% in the first three years,  and was subsequently ranked #2 on the list of the 7th-fastest growing companies in the United States in 2014. By $82, the company had already employed over 200 people and collected revenue of over $82 million.

The idea of a new ‘Protein Bar’ was first thought by a small group of fitness enthusiasts who gathered around a small kitchen (mostly on rent) with a vision for what people like us actually desire to eat. They spent several months experimenting along with Quest Creator and Shannon Penna mixing and testifying various sweeteners, ingredients and formulas. Slowly and slowly the ifs and not’s began to act clearly. They started off with two new flavors: Vanilla Almond Crunch and Peanut Butter Supreme. Rolling pins and hand-held knives are generally used to make such Quest Bars.

QUEST NUTRITION GAINING POPULARITY

Quest Bars began to create stir amongst bodybuilders and fitness models for whom maintaining dietary discipline isn’t hard. The bars tasted and found to be quite beneficial in the reduction of weight and became an immediate favorite of the health fraternity. The word spread from mouth to mouth and it was only a matter of time that their invention became huge. Slowly and slowly, the group gained monopoly, had their own lab coats, fully assembled machines etc. The years of 2011 and 2012 saw much momentum in sectors of growth, production etc. The company has now employed effective marketing strategies through social media etc. In the year 2013, the company took steps to launch a new flavor, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, which had taken almost a year in the making.  The hallmark flavor of being the first to allow inclusions made from scratch New Strategies has started gaining popularity. Admirers, customers and fans began baking with Quest Bars. Recipes inspired by Quest started pouring in from kitchens all around the country The number was in the hundreds. A small team effort to invent something new has turned into a community. The bars were used as an ingredient for baking cookies, cakes etc.

The company started getting inspired and a team was appointed to review and test the recipes sent to them. 15-second recipe videos were shared by Instagram to get the community in. The result of this process is another flavor I White Chocolate Raspberry.2014 saw the company still making progress with the blending of two new inclusions of cookies and cream into one bar. The inclusions are made completely from scratch.
